For over two decades, design has been my lifeblood. After studying in northern Minnesota, I honed my skills in a fast-paced marketing department, crafting visuals that drew crowds to trade shows. But life has a funny way of rerouting your path to purpose. When my second child was on the way, the challenge of childcare became a turning point. I left my corporate job, embracing the leap into freelancing so I could be truly present for my growing family. That brave step became Zmuda Design LLC.
For years, I served all industries as a generalist, making a living. But then, my own health journey began—a deeply personal odyssey that would reshape everything. A doctor suggested statins for high cholesterol, and for a moment, I almost believed drugs were the only answer. Yet, something inside pushed me to question, to research, to dig deeper. What I uncovered was a world beyond quick fixes, a world focused on healing the root cause.
I dove headfirst into whole-food, plant-based eating, and within three months, my numbers dramatically improved. This radical shift was just the beginning.
